We specialize in the roofs that define the Carolinas' most distinctive homes: slate sourced from U.S. quarries, hand-soldered copper, premium cedar shake, standing seam metal, and tile roofing systems. These are systems built to outlast the home, not roofs you pull off the shelf at a chain.
Every roof we install is built to true manufacturer system spec. The right underlayment, the right flashing, the right fasteners, the right ventilation, every component installed the way the manufacturer specified. That's the difference between a roof and a roofing system.
We install architectural asphalt shingles and designer luxury shingles to the same standard as our specialty work. Same crew, same spec, same warranty. The difference isn't in the material tier. It's in how we install.

I started Manchester in 2021 because I wanted to build the kind of roof I'd want on my own home. Most of my early career was spent watching contractors mix and match materials, skip steps in the manufacturer system, and walk away when a warranty claim came due. That kind of work never held up, and I didn't want to make my career that way.
