About Manchester Roofing
1,100+ Roofs Installed • CertainTeed ShingleMaster Pro • BBB Accredited, 5-Star Rated
Manchester Roofing is a boutique roofing contractor for the Carolinas. We install slate, copper, cedar shake, standing seam metal, tile, and designer luxury shingles, plus architectural asphalt and commercial roofing systems, all built to true manufacturer system spec and backed by robust workmanship and applicable manufacturer warranties.
Architectural roofing for the Carolinas.
We specialize in the roofs that define the Carolinas' most distinctive homes: slate sourced from U.S. quarries, hand-soldered copper, premium cedar shake, standing seam metal, and tile roofing systems. These are systems built to outlast the home, not roofs you pull off the shelf at a chain.
Every roof we install is built to true manufacturer system spec. The right underlayment, the right flashing, the right fasteners, the right ventilation, every component installed the way the manufacturer specified. That's the difference between a roof and a roofing system.
We install architectural asphalt shingles and designer luxury shingles to the same standard as our specialty work. Same crew, same spec, same warranty. The difference isn't in the material tier. It's in how we install.
We're also an authorized Roof Maxx Rejuvenation dealer for shingle systems that need life extension rather than replacement.
Our work is backed by robust workmanship and applicable manufacturer warranties, and by the credentials to stand behind it: 1,100+ residential roofs completed, BBB accredited with a five-star Google rating, CertainTeed ShingleMaster Pro credentialed, and licensed for both residential and commercial general contracting in North Carolina. We serve Charlotte Metro, the Lake Norman and Lake Wylie corridors, the Triad, and Fort Mill, Tega Cay, and Rock Hill in South Carolina.

Will came over to look at the roof and especially a soft spot that was leaking. He provided a full report on the roof and spot with pictures as well as quotes to repair the spot and replace everything. The pricing was extremely fair and less than other quotes I’d received in the past. We...
"Do it right the first time."
I started Manchester in 2021 because I wanted to build the kind of roof I'd want on my own home. Most of my early career was spent watching contractors mix and match materials, skip steps in the manufacturer system, and walk away when a warranty claim came due. That kind of work never held up, and I didn't want to make my career that way.
Every roof we install is built to true manufacturer system spec, staffed with crews trained on the materials they're handling, and backed by warranties we plan to be around to honor.
The goal is a roof you don't have to think about for the next 20 years.

After talking to several roofing companies, it became obvious that very few actually knew how to work on a slate roof. From my first conversation with this company, I could tell they were different. They were knowledgeable, honest, and took the time to explain exactly what needed to be done without trying to upsell...

Will and the team are super comprehensive and great to work with. Site cleanup was really well done as well, making sure there weren’t any leftover nails or debris.

I also trusted them with my own 1905 historic home, which has a very unique metal shingle roof that required real expertise and coordination with several other...

Solid company. These guys work on all kinds of roofs including the old slate roof at our church. The owner does what he says he’ll do. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.
